What is the project’s size and scope?

We anticipate total project capacity will be 200 MW, enough energy to power up to 57,000 homes annually.

The project will be located on approximately 15,000 acres of open farmland in rural Seneca and Sandusky counties. To generate 200 MW we’ll need roughly 80 wind turbines, spaced approximately 1/4 to 1/2 mile apart on active farmland. That means about 40 acres of the total 15,000 acres leased would be used to host wind facilities.

Project development takes several years, and we hope to begin construction in 2018.
